Camp Checklist for the week
What to Bring

Backpack (old school backpacks are perfect!)

Water Bottle (IMPORTANT FOR EVERY DAY!)

Sit-upon - waterproof mat or pad to sit on the ground with. An old deck cushion or vinyl tablecloth around a foam pad works great!

Light jacket or sweatshirt

Rain jacket or poncho

Sunscreen and insect repellent - Only your child can apply sunscreen or insect repellent to themselves at day camp.

Sack lunch labeled with the camper's name on Wednesday. All other meals will be cooked or provided at camp.

Mess kit or a dunkable mesh bag containing a plate, bowl, cup, and eating utensils.

Hair ties or rubber bands (long hair must be tied back for when around fire)

Epi-Pens and Asthma Inhalers can be self-carried, kept in-unit, or kept at the First Aid Station. Any other medications should be dropped off at the First Aid Station with the Nurse Carebear on the first day of Camp Adventureful. Please bring medications in their original bottles.
What to Wear

Closed toe and closed heel shoes–no sandals, flip flops, Crocs, etc. Tennis shoes are recommended for all campers and staff.

Socks, that cover the ankle.

Shirts must have sleeves that cover the shoulder, no tank or halter tops.
What NOT to Bring to Camp

Money or other valuables.

Electronics, including iPads/tablets and cell phones.

Extra food and snacks. Exceptions will be made for dietary reasons, but no food should contain nuts as Camp Adventureful is a NUT FREE camp.
